National Diesel Prices Rise Again
This week, the United States saw an average of $0.02 increase in diesel prices. For the first time in several weeks, the Midwest region saw the highest price increase at an average of $0.03. The lowest fuel price increase was $0.008 cent in the Rocky Mountain region. The highest average price for a gallon of diesel is in the California region at $3.25.
Fuel prices have been consistently on the rise for a few weeks now. The national average of $2.878 for a gallon of diesel is up $0.024 from last week. This is -$1.070 less than diesel prices one year ago. These fuel prices are a part of a weekly report published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
